Date: Sunday, Oct 18th
Time: 12:00 - 1:30 pm
Join us on for a special Family Book Club featuring The Story and Science of Hope by Andrea Curtis and Ana Suárez, with special guest author Andrea Curtis!
Families are invited to come together through the joy of reading, meaningful conversation, and connection. This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen children’s literacy skills, spend quality time together away from screens, and explore ideas about hope, resilience, and the world around us.
Meet the author, ask questions, and discover the stories and ideas behind the book. A snack or light meal will be provided!
The book is recommended for ages 9–12, though younger readers who are comfortable with the reading level are very welcome to participate. No child will be turned away!
The Story and Science of Hope is available anywhere good books are sold! We especially encourage families to support their local independent bookstore or check out the public library!
One option is TYPE Books, a wonderful local independent bookstore group in Toronto: Purchase The Story and Science of Hope from TYPE Books
If cost is a barrier, please let us know as no child will be turned away from the joy of learning, imagination, and literacy!
