Dear Friends in Christ,
For more than 100 years Rosedale United Church has supported human flourishing by connecting people to community, extending compassion, and empowering people to contribute to the betterment of our city and world. For more than 100 years Rosedale United’s light-filled sanctuary has been a quiet centre for all people to make meaning, to celebrate love, to grieve loss, and to commit to living with justice, peacefulness, warmth, welcome, and integrity. We thank you for the ways that you have been part of this history!
This year, as you prayerfully discern your financial gift for Rosedale United, we ask you to remember that we are in the midst of bringing to life our strategic vision of creating a hub here at Rosedale United Church. We ask you to dig deep and give all that you can to your church.
At this moment, when global challenges are at a tipping point, our city and our world need the community-mindedness, the compassion and the contributions of whole-hearted and flourishing human beings to tip the balance for positive change.
The Rosedale Hub will be a place where the community can come together for rest, renewal, respite, inspiration and creativity - to be filled and flourishing in order to meet this moment. The possibilities of the hub are endless, but we cannot do this without your support.
Your ongoing support has led Rosedale to this moment in our history. Thank you so much for all you have done to get us here! We ask now whether you can help us move further along in the vision of being a hub here in Rosedale.
With gratitude, Kristin & Ruth
