We continue to support St Luke’s United Church as a House of Friendship – helping to grow its Out of the Cold meals program, clothing bank and the African Centre for Refugees, which provides support to LGBTQ+ refugees. Through SMC allocations and Holly Berry Fair proceeds, we funded more than 8,300 hot, nourishing meals to those in need throughout 2024
Beyond financial support, our community comes together regularly to prepare sandwiches and volunteer at Saint Luke’s Out of the Cold program to directly provide meals and nourishment:
Sandwich-making: Make 200 sandwiches per week as a Rosedale team one Sunday per month
Clothing Donations and Distribution: Volunteers to help sort clothing donations at Saint Luke’s and/or distribute clothing to front-line organizations on specific days.
