Artist Statement
As a lifelong lover of art, I have always been inspired by new ways of exploring my creativity. After years of painting with acrylic and oil paints, I am now incorporating the use of multimedia within my work. I am especially drawn to floral painting as flowers are typically an expression of caring and hope and their natural forms allow for a dynamic composition. When I spend time immersed in nature, I often turn to landscape painting with a focus on capturing the magic of filtered light and the organic forms of windswept pines and sparkling waterways. I am very exited to share my work with the Rosedale community.
