At Rosedale, it is our honour to walk with families through times of loss. Whether you are a longtime member or have never set foot inside our church, you are welcome here.
We offer a beautiful, sacred space where you can gather to remember, give thanks, and celebrate a life lived. Our clergy and staff will work with you to create a meaningful service that reflects your loved one’s spirit and honours their story with compassion and care.
Our Sanctuary can seat up to 560 guests, including balcony seating, with room for an additional 75 people in overflow areas. For smaller gatherings, we can create a more intimate setting by rearranging the front of the Sanctuary.
Following the service, many families choose to gather in the adjacent Catherine Grant Room to continue sharing memories. We work with several trusted caterers familiar with our space and are happy to collaborate with others you may prefer. A slideshow can be played during the reception using our in-house screen system.
To begin planning a funeral or memorial at Rosedale, please contact our Office Administrator at churchoffice@rosedaleunited.org or call 416 924 0725 ext. 101. Our clergy will be privileged to work with you directly.
Music brings comfort and meaning in times of grief. Rosedale offers a variety of options including piano, organ, vocal soloists, and instrumentalists. From stirring bagpipes to clear, sparkling trumpets, we will help you choose music that honours your loved one. You are also welcome to invite outside performers.
For those unable to attend in person, Rosedale offers live streaming so friends and family can be part of the service from anywhere. Services can be streamed on YouTube or Facebook using a private or public link. A high-quality recording is also available.
Our funeral fees are structured to be accessible while supporting our staff, building, and cleaning needs. If costs are a concern, please speak with us. We want every family to feel supported. If you are able and wish to do so, additional donations are welcomed and appreciated.
At Rosedale, we believe every life deserves to be celebrated with love, dignity, and hope. Our minister will meet you where you are and support you with language and traditions that reflect your values. We are here to offer space, care, and a community grounded in God’s unconditional love.
Please reach out when you are ready. We are here to walk with you.
