If drinking has become a problem, there is help. For the past 32 years, the Rox Glen Traditional Group of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA®) has been meeting at The Rosedale Centre / Rosedale United Church.
"AA® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA® membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA® is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organizations or institutions; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety" – reprinted by permission of AA Grapevine Inc.
You are invited to join a meeting or call the Greater Toronto Area Intergroup Office at 416-487-5591 (available 24/7), or visit www.aatoronto.org.
Mondays are "closed" discussion meetings. Closed Discussion Meetings are for alcoholics and those who think they may have a drinking problem. Members share their experience with how the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous have
helped them to get sober and enjoy a fulfilling life in recovery. Open meeting are held on Thursdays.
