Maundy Thursday, April 2, 5:30pm (optional supper), 6:00pm (service)
We will commemorate Jesus' Last Supper with a simple meal, followed by a meditative service at 6pm with foot (or hand) washing. "Maundy" is derived from the Latin word for "mandate," referring to Jesus' final commandment to "love one another" (Jn 13:34).
Good Friday, April 3, 10:30am
"Love Enduring" is the theme of this special service of stirring choral music, extended organ prelude, and readings interspersed from the Passion according to the Gospel of Matthew.
Easter Sunday, April 5, 10:30am
A day to recall this fundamental message of the faith, that the Life that was in Jesus did not die, but continued, and continues to live among us. Our traditional daffodil cross and a message of celebration, and additional special music. Our Easter Sunday service includes a special Sunday School program for elementary-aged children, and a staffed nursery for children five and under. Rev. Dr. Kristin Philipson preaching.
