If drinking has become a problem, there is help. For the past 32 years, the Rox Glen Traditional Group of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA®) has been meeting at The Rosedale Centre / Rosedale United Church.
"AA® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA® membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA® is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organizations or institutions; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Thursdays are "open" meetings. Weekly speaker, refreshments served. A member of AA shares their experience in getting sober and how they apply the AA Program in daily living. The general public and anyone interested in the AA program are invited to attend.
