Roberta is the newest recruit, and has joined Rosedale as the Acting Minister of Youth and Community Engagement. Roberta is a lifelong Torontonian, she lives and breathes the TTC. She recieved her B.A. in English and History from the University of Toronto, St.George campus, in 2013. In 2014, after a brief break from her studies, she pursued her M.Div at Emmanuel College, graduating in 2017. Roberta then moved to Wawa for her 8 month internship, where she both learned to love the North, and learned she is a city girl at heart. Upon her ordination in 2017, Roberta began a 9 month ministry at Manor Road United. She is thrilled to be working with a congregation that is willing to explore all manners of social life, including the LGBTQ community, inter-religious and inter-cultural work, Indigenous relations, and mental health advocacy.
We at Rosedale celebrate all people as created in God's image. We welcome people of all sexualities, orientations, and gender identities to be a part of our community, as the Creator made them.
This land has been the traditional home of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, the Mississaugas of the Credit River and to Indigenous people from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to work, live and worship on this land.
