Everyone alive right now is living through extraordinary times. As a human family we’ve been tasked to work together to tackle the toughest of challenges: adapting to a changing climate, righting the wrongs of our colonial past, and continuing to care for each other through Covid. On top of this we’re each grappling with learning and growing through our age and life stage. Bread for the Journey is a group that will meet monthly (the last Wednesday of every month) to lift up a spiritual practice to feed the body and replenish the soul. Feel free to pop into the sessions that interest you most or come to them all. Each practice will be paired with a book written by a spiritual leader of our time. Discussion will build from learnings in each book, but no one needs to have read the book to attend. Kristin and a different member of the congregation each month will share some of what they’ve learned about the practice from their reading, open a group discussion, and end with a tangible example of the practice for you to take with you as a means of supporting your spirit as you move through the challenges and joys of being alive right now.
