DESCRIPTION:Taking place from 6:30-8:30 PM on Mondays May 4 and May 11\, th
 is two-session workshop at the Rosedale Centre invites artists of all abil
 ities to explore the art of floral abstraction with Canadian artist and ar
 t therapy practitioner Catherine Cameron. Participants will be introduced 
 to Catherine’s techniques and creative processes in a relaxed\, supporti
 ve\, and engaging environment.\nNo prior experience is required. Participa
 nts are encouraged to bring a smock or wear clothing they are comfortable 
 getting paint on — painting can be delightfully messy.\nThrough demonstr
 ations\, skill-building\, and shared studio time\, participants will creat
 e individual artworks on artist-quality canvases. The first two-hour sessi
 on will focus on painting and creative exploration. The second session wil
 l be dedicated to completing works and may include finishing techniques\, 
 signing\, and writing a short artist bio\, similar to professional studio 
 practice.\nEach participant will have the opportunity to present their pie
 ce to the group and may also have the opportunity to participate in a grou
 p exhibition at The Rosedale Centre (to be confirmed).\nTo ensure a high-q
 uality experience\, this program requires a minimum of six participants\, 
 with spaces limited.\n\n\nRegistration information:\n- $275.00 for the two
  sessions\n- includes artist quality canvas\, artist grade paint\, and al
 l materials\n\nPayment can be made:\n- In person via cash\, cheque\, debit
