Refugee Program

Rosedale United has a long pattern of support for the welcome of refugees fleeing violence.

This program relies on the generosity of congregation members, in time and money, to fulfill our obligations of sponsorship.

Through 2015 and 2016 the Committee is actively facilitating a large number of sponsorships of Syrian refugees, both by the congregation and in partnership with members of the community.

You can see a full package of background and application documents here.

If you would like more information, or can volunteer, please contact Claude Hould, the director of this program.

Welcome!

We are a dynamic and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Canada, with a tradition of strong preaching, fine music, and compassionate outreach.

There is a welcome here for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, racial and ethnic backgrounds, family configurations, abilities, and economic status to attend, join, celebrate life passages, and participate with us in the call to learn, grow and serve as disciples of Christ.
