Habitat For Humanity

Established in 1988, Habitat For Humanity Toronto (HFHT) is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity Canada (HFHC). HFHT works with corporate, faith and individual donors and volunteers to build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with families in need of adequate shelter. We welcome, without discrimination, everyone who shares Habitat’s goal to end substandard housing in our own community and around the world.

We have begun to develop a team of volunteers who will take part in the building activities of this remarkable organization.

Members of Rosedale United have also participated in global efforts, twice taking part in the reconstruction of areas near Leogane, in Haiti.

Our next building day is : TBA

Welcome!

We are a dynamic and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Canada, with a tradition of strong preaching, fine music, and compassionate outreach.

There is a welcome here for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, racial and ethnic backgrounds, family configurations, abilities, and economic status to attend, join, celebrate life passages, and participate with us in the call to learn, grow and serve as disciples of Christ.
